Cynthia Navarro is an American independent author born in Manhattan. Her first novel, Violins in the Dark was released in the winter of 2016. She has since then released a few relationship guides titled Get Hitched, She Said Yes, and a translated Spanish version of Get Hitched titled, Conquístalo y Cásate! Cynthia grew up in the Bronx with hardworking parents who instilled strong work ethics and strong family values in her. Her creative writing abilities were apparent at a young age, but she didn't start writing books until adulthood. Her upbringing fostered creativity, determination and open-mindedness. She was raised in the capital of the world, exposed to the art of graffiti and partook in the performing arts. Cynthia moved from a diverse, fast-paced city to North Carolina in 2018. She was looking for a change of scenery to enhance her writing and experience a different lifestyle. North Carolina welcomed her with it's southern hospitality and charm. She intends to expand her writing by adding more fiction, romance, and suspense novels to her collection of books. She is determined to leave a mark on the world through her novels. In her own words, "As a writer, I experience life, differently. I tune into my senses to feel the world around me and express my love for it through writing. The world has hidden beauty that can only be experienced through mindfulness. We need to slow down, reflect and feel the beauty of life. My books can help you discover hidden treasures within yourself, develop hope and heal by falling in love with life. Words are powerful."

This story is about Savannah Huntington, a young woman who finds herself in a desperate domestic violent situation. She decides to stand up for herself and change the course of her life. After a courageous step, she faces extreme uncertainty, but reconstructs her life. She faces tragedy and hardship, but giving up on herself is not an option. Through her struggles, Savannah Huntington, finds what she always wanted; she finds her independence. Fear didn't stop her from reaching her goals in life. This rollercoaster of a journey will move you with drama, hold you in suspense, and inspire you with the beauty of love.
